Electrical Junction Boxes
Designed for power and control wiring terminations. Built to suit indoor and outdoor installations with protection and layout matched to your site requirements.
A junction box is an enclosure used to safely terminate and distribute power, control or instrumentation wiring at cable junction points. It provides protection, organisation and easier troubleshooting for field circuits.
Use a junction box when you need to extend wiring, add connection points, or route multiple conduits into one location, while keeping terminations protected and compliant.
What we provide
iEngineering can manufacture and supply electrical and instrument junction boxes in stainless steel 316, mild steel and other materials, with IP65 protection for harsh environments.
Junction boxes serve as connection points for power, control and instrumentation wiring and help make fault detection and repair easier by centralising terminations and labelling.
Choose the right junction box based on circuit purpose, environment and internal arrangement.
Designed for power and control wiring terminations. Built to suit indoor and outdoor installations with protection and layout matched to your site requirements.
Designed for instrument signal wiring and field device terminations. Suitable for outdoor signal wiring with practical internal wiring and termination arrangement.
Type 1
Electrical junction boxes are used as safe connection points for power and control wiring. They help with cable routing, branching circuits, isolation coordination and easier fault finding by centralising terminations.
Type 2
Instrument junction boxes are used for signal wiring and field device terminations. They are commonly used across industrial facilities to bring multiple instrument cables into one organised, labelled termination point.
How we work
We follow a structured process to make sure your junction boxes arrive site-ready with the correct layout, terminations and protection level.
Share your wiring philosophy, I O list, cable schedule, gland requirements and installation location. We will align the enclosure design to your environment and maintenance needs.
Confirm indoor or outdoor location, cable entry direction, number of cores, terminals, labels, and IP rating expectations.
Select material (SS316 or mild steel), size, gland plate arrangement, terminal blocks and internal wiring layout.
Fabrication, finishing, drilling and fitment of hardware including hinges, latches, bolts and accessories. Assembly of terminals and identification as required.
Basic checks for enclosure sealing, fit, labeling and delivery readiness, followed by packing and dispatch to site.
Past Project Experience
2020
Scope of Work: Supply of fully customised SS junction boxes integrated with prewired electrical panels for harsh-environment applications.
2024
Scope of Work: Supply installation of 2 x 11 KV Outdoor Junction boxes to utility.
Installation notes
Common placement depends on duct runs, instrument field distribution and accessibility for maintenance.
Installed at intersections of duct runs to provide a safe termination and routing point.
Used to connect multiple field instruments to control systems and distributed panels.
Locations are coordinated along routing baselines so duct patterns remain consistent and maintainable.
Outdoor instrument signal wiring JBs should be fully installed with mounting, hardware, nameplates, terminal blocks and wiring.
Placed where technicians can isolate, test and repair circuits without disturbing upstream cables.
Junction boxes are used both indoors and outdoors as connection points for power, control and instrumentation.
